Dima Martynchuk
Co-founder · Senior Product Designer

Dima has spent his career designing products people actually want to use. By day he's a Senior Product Designer; after hours he's the guy who was team captain of pretty much every sport in college and never really stopped competing. He built Pacely because every training app he tried felt like it was designed by someone who had never actually trained — and he knew he could do better.

Co-founder · Principal Engineer

Catherine is a Principal Engineer who builds the infrastructure that keeps things running at scale. Her fitness journey took a turning point after losing 40% of her body weight — and realizing she didn't want to stop there. She wants to stay fit and compete for the rest of her life, which means she needs a coach that grows with her. So she built one.

Good coaching shouldn't cost
$300 an hour.

Dima has been competing his whole life — team captain, always training, always chasing the next goal. Catherine came at it from a different angle: a major health transformation that made her realize fitness wasn't just something she wanted to maintain, it was something she wanted to build on for the rest of her life.

Between us, we've tried everything. Apps with great algorithms but terrible UX. Apps with beautiful design but rigid plans that fell apart the moment real life intervened. None of them felt like having a coach — someone who actually knows what you did yesterday, how you slept, and what you realistically have in the tank today.

Pacer is what we built for ourselves. Every feature exists because one of us needed it first.
