The short version: We collect only what we need to coach you. Your health data is used exclusively to personalize your training — we never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never share it with anyone except the AI service that powers your coaching. You can delete everything, anytime.

On iOS, Pacely can read data from Apple Health (HealthKit) — but only the categories you explicitly grant. On Android, we can read from Health Connect with equivalent permissions.
Apple HealthKit commitment: Pacely does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than delivering your personalized coaching experience. HealthKit data is never sold to third parties. This is both our policy and a condition of Apple's developer guidelines.
We store aggregated daily summaries of your health data (e.g., "7.2 hours sleep, 58 bpm resting HR") rather than raw data streams. You can revoke health permissions at any time through your device's Settings app, and you can request deletion of all stored health data by contacting us.
Pacer — our AI coach — is powered by Google Gemini. When you ask Pacer a question or request a training plan, we send a structured summary of your coaching context to Google's API. This includes:
We do not send your name, email address, or payment information to the AI provider. The data transmitted is pseudonymous training context.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and API terms. Google does not use Pacely API requests to train its models. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and sell (we don't sell any), and the right to opt out of sale. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@pacely.coach.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
Pacely is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@pacely.coach and we will delete the account promptly.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pacely after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
